KUKA KR 3 D1200

The KR DELTA is a versatile parallel arm robot known for its speed, precision, and reliability. It's designed for pick-and-place tasks, making it perfect for automation in industries like electronics. This robot family requires minimal maintenance thanks to self-lubricating ball joints.

It comes in a standard version and a Hygienic Machine variant made entirely of stainless steel for use in food and medical applications. The KR DELTA is easy to clean and complies with FDA and LFGB regulations for food contact materials.

Key features include lightning-fast cycle times of just 0.32 seconds, a flexible flange for tool mounting, a large workspace within a cylindrical area (350mm height, 1,200mm diameter), and a compact ceiling-mounted design with a 350mm installation area.

The KR DELTA is cost-effective and low-maintenance, thanks to self-lubricating ball joints and an encapsulated gear unit. It comes with the energy-efficient KR C5 microcontroller and allows direct cleaning with high-pressure cleaners, minimizing downtime.

This system offers a powerful and easily accessible application setup with KUKA.VisionTech and KUKA.PickControl software, enabling seamless integration of up to ten robots and conveyors. It's versatile, and suitable for various industries, including electronics, food, medical, and more.

The HM version meets food contact regulations, with a stainless steel body, IP67 protection rating, and IP69K fourth axis. It complies with FDA and LFGB standards, making it suitable for food processing, primary packaging, and similar applications with easy cleaning and disinfection.
